Pannier bags aren’t always the most fashionable accessories for bikes. But these handmade bags, by Carsick Designs, are a bit different.
Carsick Designs was founded in Sacramento in 2007 in the hopes of making beautiful pannier bags. Shown above is the Cordura nylon set, a water resistant roll top rig with outside pockets to hold u-locks and water bottles. When not strapped to the bike, shoulder straps can be attached for easy carry. Pricing for the Cordura set is $185.
For an extra $40 they’ll make it waxed nylon, shown after the jump along with handlebar and seat bags…
Measurements:
- Height, unrolled = 23″, rolled = approx. 15″.
- Width = 12″ top tapering down to 8″ bottom.
- Depth = 6″
Bags are also offered in waxed canvas, for $225, and additional box pockets can be bought $50 for a set.
