Aaron Panone is an industrial designer from Boston who often collaborates with others (such as Geekhouse), but usually does not put out self branded products. This go around however, he has put his name on one of the nicest looking track chainrings I have ever seen. But then again, I am a sucker for CNC’d shiny bits on my bike. It’s called the 144#47, and as the name would suggest it’s a 144 BCD with 47 well designed teeth. It accepts a 1/8” chain for the purist in us all. Panone is having his design produced in a very limited edition of 20 clear anodized silver rings, and 30 super black anodized rings. They cost $67 over at his online store while supplies last.
