Started in winter 2013, Thirty48 is a new technical sock manufacturer with eyes on cyclists. Or their lower extremities anyway.
Using left/right specific designs and intricate knits, the socks have a well ventilated top section with wrapped arch support on the bottom. The cuff has a rolled rear edge to make them easier to get on and off. Materials are a fast wicking 68% Polyprolene/27% Nylon/5% Lycra, aided by their “CatalystAF” design that creates mini channels to move air across the foot so they stay cool and dry. Available in black with black, green or red trim for $10.99/pair. Tech chart after the break.
Not shown, they also offer Performance and Recovery compression calf sleeves. The Performance models have a higher compression for use during activity, and the Recovery is for afterward. Running socks are also on tap, and more sport specific items are on the way.
