We’re suckers for good looking kit, especially when they incorporate the right tech and features. These fresh jerseys from Morvelo and T-shirts from upstart Caravan Collective fit the bill.
English brand Morvelo’s been making men’s jerseys for a while, but for 2013 they’ve added some very nice looking women’s and children’s jerseys. They also have some pretty slick design and brand collaborations for those looking to rock some brewery, coffee roaster or other favorite lifestyle addictions enhancers.
The jerseys are handmade in Europe, and the materials and finish have been updated with the designs. They use BioActive Polyester, a textile with antimicrobial agents infused directly into the fibers so they won’t wear off or wash away -or get onto your skin or the environment- and help keep funk at bay. Their shorts get new Italian chamois and printed elastic gripper strips for better comfort. Jerseys get full length self locking zippers and a new side-entry zippered hidden fourth pocket on the rear.

It being the season and all, they also have a long sleeve thermal cycling jacket that’s 100% ThermoActive polyester with brushed fleece backing.

Caravan Collective is a newer brand out of Israel that starts with GOTS certified organic cotton, then ups the ante with degradable packaging, recycled wood displays for retail and eco-friendly inks. Above are three of many men’s cycling themed tees.
Their women’s designs are a bit more entertaining and colorful, all printed on combed cotton v-neck shirts.
And for that tri(cycle)athlete needing his or her first singlet, look no further than the undyed onesie. More kids and lifestyle goods (hoodies, tanks, etc.) are coming soon.
