  • Pro conti Aqua Blue Sport will race the disc brake, 1x 3T Strada in 2018 – In a fairly surprising announcement 3T Cycling has paired up with Ireland’s first UCI Professional Continental cycling team Aqua Blue Sport, launched just back in January 2017. The sponsorship deal will see the team racing 3T’s unique aero 1x road Strada and presumably its new Overdrive 9-32 cassettes in the top echelons of the pro peloton. While the team is new, they already have a strong line-up, including current US road champ Larry Warbasse who will be racing in the stars & stripes through next summer. The team got some solid invites in 2017, and backed them up with solid performances. They even won stage 4 of the Tour de Suisse 7, the overall at the Tour of Austria, and most recently the 17th stage of this year’s Vuelta a España. So we expect to see the unique 3T Strada going bar to bar with more traditional bikes in 2018. AquaBlueSport.com
