Advocacy & Industry News

  • I Bike & I Vote, how to finding candidate positions – The League of American Bicyclists wants to make sure that cyclists who vote are informed of how their candidates stand on cycling issues. Are they bicycle friendly, or do they espouse bicycle friendly policies? There haven’t been many big, key transportation votes since 2015, so the Bike League is trying to help you figure it out. Either check in with your local bicycling advocacy organization? Or  you can head to VoteSmart.org to look up candidates on your ballot and see if they have infrastructure or transportation in their positions or speeches. BikeLeague.org
  • Rapha & EF Education First partner for pro sponsorship & development – The move brings Rapha back to men’s WorldTour pro racing, and aims to also create inspiring behind-the-scenes look at pro cycling. Working with Jonathan Vaughters’ team cameras will follow the racers on a year-long journey through the most interesting events in cycling. And of course, the sponsorship will also be an avenue for Rapha to continue to develop the race-ready Pro Team kit. Rapha.cc
