Depending on your global locale, #GivingTuesday may not be much of a thing. But, in the States, at least, it’s a way for our consumption-driven society to end the shopping overdrive that is Black Friday weekend on a feel-good note. Here’s a short list of the cycling related opportunities to put some dollars to good use building advocacy and the future of our sport…

  • The League of American Bicyclists will get twice your donation thanks to a private foundation’s pledge to match all donations made today…so your $50 gets them $100 to use for bicycle advocacy!
  • MassBike is hoping to finally push through the Three Feet to Pass legislation in 2018, and they need your support to keep the lobbying effort strong in Massachusetts. Donate through their website if you want, but if you do it through Facebook then the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will double your donation!
  • Donate to NICA through December 31 and you could win a trip with Western Spirit mountain bike tours, and you’ll be supporting youth mountain bike racing, getting underserved and low-income kids on bikes, plus character (and trail) building efforts.
  • PayPal has a general donations page, and they’ll add 1% to anything donated through the portal.

Know of more? Leave them in the comments! Thanks, and happy riding!
