GOREWEAR’s new threads look to satisfy mountain bikers driven to exploration. A lightweight women’s rain jacket and shorts, plus new men’s pants, represent the ‘Made To Last’ line, which includes 30 pieces.
It includes leg warmers, gloves, tights, vests, socks, and everything in between. As you’d expect, the line is full of breathable, water-resistant fabrics like GORE-TEX and Cordura. Mountain bike-specific touches like longer tails on tops and constructed knees on pants are standard features.

Women’s Gore-Tex Gorewear Endure jacket
The GORWEAR women’s Endure jacket suits everyday mountain biking needs with pre-shaped elbows and a hood big enough for a helmet. A longer tail, plus a drawstring hem and velcro cuffs, helps keep the elements outside where they belong.
The waterproof, windproof GORE-TEX jacket has plenty of zippered pockets to stash valuables during rides. And it packs into its stow-away pocket, so you can cram it in a bag when the sun comes out. A wide size range should help the jacket fit many body types.
The men’s version of this jacket is already one of Zach’s favorites, so it’s great to see a women’s version as well. Just remember that like most of this new gear, it fits bigger than Gorewear has typically in the past. So you may need to size up.

Women’s Gorewear Fernflow shorts
GOREWEAR builds the new women’s Fernflow shorts to stand up over the long haul. Four-way stretch Cordura fabric supports freedom of movement, and an extra panel in the back protects against splashes and rooster tails. Taped seams provide even more moisture protection.
An adjustable waistband with silicone grips and velcro tabs helps the women’s shorts fit snugly and stay put around the hips. Air vents facilitate temperature control, and a zipper fly should make things easy when nature calls.
The 13.4″ inseam shorts are cut slightly longer in the front than in the back. You can carry your goods in multiple zippered pockets big enough for a smartphone.

Men’s Gore-Tex Gorewear Fernflow pants
GOREWEAR designed its men’s Fernflow pants for drizzly, cool to cold weather with water resistance and breathable windproofing. GORE-TEX Infinium reinforces the pants for extra durability around the knee, thigh, back, and seat.
The pants get the same adjustable, silicone gripping waistband as the women’s shorts. Various zippers on the sides and lower legs help riders manage heat and knee pads.
Pre-shaped knees aid comfort and tapered lower legs should help keep slush, mud, and wind off your ankles.
The men’s Fernflow gets the same smartphone pockets, taped seams, and zipper fly as the women’s shorts.
