Rather than take their old blemished rims to the scrap yard, Velocity is upcycling their old metal into something new. Hand cut from their US made aluminum Deep V rims, Velocity’s Rim Coat hanger won’t break like the flimsy plastic ones, and will last a lifetime. In order to make the hook, Velocity twisted two of their 14 gauge spokes together which are held onto the body of the hanger with two DT Swiss brass nipples.
The hangers are currently available in their web store, selling for $7.99 a piece, or $27.99 for a 4 pack. Velocity says these are time consuming to make and likely won’t be around after the season ramps up, so if you’re looking for a fun way to hang your coat, get on it.
