After leading with their A35 stem, you had to figure this was coming. Less than a year after launching their first stem in the A-Series with a 35mm option, Industry Nine has now added a 31.8mm stem to that collection with the A318.
Named after the A-axis of the five axis machining center used to create these stems in Ashevill, NC, the A318 uses the same construction as the A35. That is, it’s made from domestically sourced 7075 aluminum billet and machined, tested, anodized, and assembled with 316 stainless steel M5 bolts completely in-house.
I9 invested a lot into their in-house anodizing facility, but the resulting control over their colors and ability to do batches of any size have allowed them to offer a veritable rainbow of color options.
Single color stems start at $145, but if you want to chose your own color combination, it will cost you $160. The A318 features a +/- 4.4mm rise in all sizes and comes in 30, 40, and 50mm lengths. Available now.
