Keen, a long time footwear and sandal manufacturer, has steeped into the cycling arena with an array of clipless compatible shoes and sandals for men and women.  They use Keen’s trademark wide toe box and have some beefy tread on the bottom.  More pics when you read “more”, along with photos of some cool new bags and they flip flops made of recycled inner tubes!

They had a couple color variations for each style.

The tread is aggressive enough for some light hiking during hike-a-bike sections, but the soles were flexible enough for a little casual walking.

The flip flop straps are made of recycled bicycle inner tubes and have some nice rubber guards to protect your big toe.

Keen’s got your whole feet covered with their new socks.  These are right/left specific (see the little “R” in the yellow triangle).  Another cool feature is that the seams at the toes are on the bottom (dark brown seam) positioned so they fit in the curl of the toe and you don’t feel them.  I’ve been wearing a pair around since the show and they are very, very comfortable.

They also had some new messenger bags, sacks and backpacks on display.
