Isla Bikes makes some sick kids cyclocross bikes, which come equipped with their own Gréim tires. Now, they’re offering those tires for sale without having to buy the complete bike, and they come in three sizes and two versions. Like the bikes, there’s a Pro version and a Standard one. The Pro model is lighter thanks to a Kevlar bead and 185tpi skinwall casing, which gives it a more supple ride. The Standard version gets a wire bead and 72tpi casing, but adds a Kevlar puncture protection layer. Specs and more details below…
Both versions share the same tread pattern, which gets a more densely packed center tread line for fast rolling on the straights, with good knob transitions onto the edges for predictable cornering. What’s cool is these will fit on any kids mountain bike, too, letting them get a bit more of a ‘cross feel even if they’re racing their usual bike.
