We don’t cover a whole lot of team rumors around here, but when the name is as legendary as Greg Minnaar, that gets our attention. Officially announced today on the Santa Cruz Bicycles Instagram, Greg Minnaar is moving on from the Syndicate.
This makes 16 years (!) of racing for one of the top teams in the world, and establishing himself as the GOAT. Even though Greg is now 42 years old, Greg is still extremely fast. So while it’s somewhat surprising to see him off the Syndicate, we wouldn’t be surprised to see him land on another team for the 2024 season.
The rumors are already flying about where he’ll end up, but nothing has been formally announced. Any guesses?
