…because you don’t want to drag around your messenger bag, don’t have a basket, and you need something to put your keys, wallet, iphone and bike lock in. Check out the multitude of options for your colorful hip accessory on Fabric Horse’s website. The option below will run you $120, a half belt $80.

Besides the utility belts they also have spats (?), lock holsters, belt loop key rings and the occasional headdress (that’s because they’re a custom sewing operation and can do pretty much whatever you want). Based in Philly, I like them because they sew everything in house, take custom orders, are creative, and their logo is a horse with a sewing machine for a head. Cool. Lock holster, $10.

Tall Spats, $58. Not sure what they do, but they’re cute. Might be good protection from sharp sticks and prickly bushes when riding through the woods (I use my soccer shin guards, but they aren’t very pretty).

Why not just go Full Eighties and drop $2.50 on a sweet, sweet Fanny Pack. Come on, Hipsters, if you’re going to do it, DO IT ALL THE WAY!
