Joshua Tree has just released three new, all organic embrocations with varying heat levels. Perhaps even better than the organic nature of the product is the hands-free application…no more burning fingers, then eyes, then privates. They are:
Eucalyptus No Heat Embrocation uses peppermint and eucalyptus essential oils to create an invigorating protective balm on the skin. The thick waterproof barrier is great for shedding mud and snow while riding during inclement weather. Peppermint relieves skin irritation and itchiness and also helps to reduce skin redness where inflammation is present while at the same time having a cooling action. Eucalyptus helps heal wounds, ulcers, burns, cuts, abrasions, sores and insect bites and stings.
Spiced Mid Heat Embrocation uses essential oils from cloves and capsaicin to produce a mild heating sensation. Clove essential oils increase heat in the body, while capsaicin, the active component of chili peppers, warms when applied to skin.
Citrus Full Heat Embrocation combines essential oils from grapefruit and capsaicin for a hot sensation. Capsaicin provides the heat and grapefruit essential oil offers a refreshing, slightly energizing sensation.

PRESS RELEASE: Joshua Tree Skin Care (JTree), maker of organic and natural products designed to support an active outdoor lifestyle, introduces its organic embrocation collection. A warming cream most commonly used by cyclists to jump-start leg muscles before training and competition, JTree’s embrocation line includes three potencies and aromas each endorsed by Team JTree pro-cyclists: Eucalyptus No Heat (Adam Craig), Spiced Mid Heat (Kelli Emmett) and Citrus Full Heat (Brian Matter). Available immediately at select retailers and at www.jtreelife.com, each 10 ml stick retails for $12.
Unlike other products on the market, JTree’s embrocations come in a hands-free applicator stick instead of as a liniment in a jar, so no gloves are needed to apply the hot compound. In addition to cyclists, runners, skiers, riders and swimmers can use the warming cream on the lower back and shoulders before training or competition.
“During the development process, we relied heavily on the input of our pro athletes,” says David Lawrence, JTree’s president and CEO. “With their extensive testing, we’ve been able to create a diverse collection to meet our customers’ needs while offering the same high quality organic product that they expect from Joshua Tree.”
