Kali Protectives’ new Chakra Youth and Children’s bicycle helmets bring their same in-molded Composite Fusion construction as their high-end adult models to a sub-$30 price point.
This is huge news on two fronts. First, it gives your kids a better helmet. One with tougher construction, more ventilation and simple, one-handed dial retention at the back. Second, it gives local bike shops a premium product that’s price competitive with the cheaper glued-on-shell helmets available at big box retailers. The Yout Chakra, above, includes a breakaway visor and sells for just $29.
