Kitsbow says its new Haskell Lighterweight shorts and pants for mountain biking are exactly that — lighter weight!
For its new variants, the brand took its existing men’s Haskell lineup and shaved grams. On the heels of its new Madrone women’s shorts, it also introduced a new top — the women’s Marlette Merino tank.
Men’s Haskell Lighterweight shorts and pants
The updated men’s Haskell Lighterweight shorts and pants still come with important features like a zippered phone pocket, gusseted inseam, and a tailored profile to prevent bunching and riding up in the saddle.
A whopping 59 sizes let riders tailor their fit and cut down on compromise. Shorts wearers can choose between an 8-inch and 11-inch inseam. And stretchy, woven nylon helps maximize range of motion.

Tastemaker-y as ever, Kitsbow also tailors the pants to be “flattering but not tight” so you can dismount comfortably in front of the coffee shop and not look like a (total) bike nerd hanging out inside.
Women’s Marlette merino tank
The Marlette tank uses a 75/25 merino and synthetic blend to give a smooth feel, positive stretch recovery, and moisture control. It also leverages merino wool’s natural odor resistance. A narrow back aids mobility, and a high neckline helps limit sun exposure.

Each new entry gets subtle reflective touches for safety, and Kitsbow makes all of its products by hand at its North Carolina facility. The company also limits its production runs to keep from cranking out scads of unwanted clothing. If you want, Kitsbow will even make your gear to order and provide a delivery estimate based on production time.
