Kitsbow and Swift Industries have just released a fall season combo for gravel rider and mountain bikers. The new Swift Anchor Pack ups the ante for quality waist packs with the addition of Pendleton Wool, which matches the shirt’s material. And, there’s a new women’s version that finally gets the premium wool fabric, too.
Swift Anchor Pack
Designed to improve the overall function of a hip pack without giving up too much storage compared to a backpack, the new Swift Anchor Pack gives you 2.5 liters of storage…before it expands. A new expanding sleeve feature rolls out a hidden Pendleton wool lining, softly cradling those extra layers you shed once the ride heats up.
There’s also two compression straps, which can be used for additional soft goods or their optional Sidekick Stem Pouch accessory bag. Both brands are made in the USA, and this pack gets US-made VX21 rip-stop fabric with a Dyneema grid packcloth liner.
The collaboration is more than just a sharing of fabrics. Swift’s co-founder Martina Brimmer says Kitsbow helped inform the design, too, but let each party focus on their strengths. Retail price for the Anchor pack is $120 from Swift Ind, or $137.99 on Kitsbow’s site.
Kitsbow Icon Shirt w/ Pendleton Wool
The Kitsbow Icon has long been one of their best sellers, now adding a fresh plaid pattern to match the hidden roll on the pack. And, for the first time, the women’s Icon will get a Pendleton Umatilla Wool option, too.
Retail is $220, available in Men’s athletic or relaxed fits, and Women’s fit.
