Utilizing an elite adhesive system developed by none other than 3M, Kogel has perfected a secure bond between rider and bottle. Concerned about connecting with your team car? The system is not only ultra effective but, according to Magic Watts ambassador Sem Gallegos, highly intuitive in testing with riders and team managers’ left hands. Also, according to the Kogel website, “testing has shown to increase power output anywhere between 150 and 300+bhp, depending on team car.”
But this versatile system isn’t limited to the road. In mountain testing, the system claims a 68% advantage over other bottle security systems. The optional hose kit, developed in parallel with the system could, in our opinion, could be innovative enough to make all existing BTA systems obsolete.
Kogel bearings CEO Ard Kessels has stated that he “could not be more excited” about the Magic Watts bottle. “We are currently speaking with parties outside the bike industry to find more applications for this new technique. We have only scratched the surface of what is possible with this new adhesive.”
