If you’re like me, the idea of mounting a $1,000 phone to the front of your bike isn’t too appealing. Unless we’re talking about riding on a trainer indoors. In that case, having the phone front and center on your bars can be essential for using programs like Zwift, TrainerRoad, ROUVY, or just having easy access to your music while you train.

KOM Cycling knows this, and they’re working on an adapter that will turn your existing Garmin or Wahoo GPS mount into a Magsafe-compatible phone mount. The adapter has two sets of mounting holes so you can position it to fit both Wahoo and Garmin mounts. It’s also shaped to position the phone far enough out front of your bars in either portrait or landscape mode based on the location of the Magsafe ring.

KOM points out that this adapter is only for indoor use, so don’t go riding outside with it and launch your phone into the bushes. Not that that would happen, but it could. Maybe.

The Magsafe Phone Mounts are being finalized as we speak, so expect these to be available in the near future for $29.99.

Garmin Varia Clip Mount for Saddle Bags

In addition to the Magsafe mount, KOM has a new saddle bag clip for your Garmin Varia radar taillight. With the exception of the Garmin Varia RCT715, the mount will allow you to mount Garmin Varia radar lights, or other items with a Garmin quarter-turn system to the back of your existing saddle bag (as opposed to the KOM Cycling Saddlebag that has a quarter-turn mount built-in).

The Mount is made using SLS 3D printing and weighs just 16g. You can pick one up for $24.99.

Cheap Spigen case with KOM Garmin stick-on mount and voila… iPhone clips in garmin mount for $37CDN. Used outside for a year (gravel, singletrack, roads) with zero issues.
