In a Sports Illustrated story posted last night, Lance says the French doping officials may ban him from riding in the Tour de France this July.
The video above pretty much sums up what started with a visit by a French AFLD organization rep for a random drug test…his 24th random test since his comeback.  Lance and Johan Bruyneel questioned the man’s authority and requested time to check his credentials.  During that time, Lance stepped out of view to grab a shower, and upon returning (about 20 minutes) and finding that the tester was legitimate, willingly submitted himself to the drug test.
According to the rules, Armstrong was supposed to remain in the testers view from the time he introduced himself until the test was complete, however Armstrong says that A) the tester granted him permission to grab a shower and B) the tester checked “NO” on the test form indicating nothing was irregular about the test procedure.
“I know we have a lot of history there,” Armstrong said. “I know that certainly my comeback wasn’t welcomed by a lot of people in France. It’s unfortunate.”
