Add another tally to the 29er camp – the Last Glen is here. Essentially a larger wheeled version of the Last Coal, the Glen charges in with 140mm of rear travel, 150mm up front, and clearance for big 29″ tires.

Using a similar linkage driven suspension system as the Clay, the Glen offers a progressive suspension tune out of either air or coil shocks with plenty of room for piggy back reservoirs.

The aluminum 6013-T4/T6 frame offers room for a bottle cage in front of the shock, plus features like a BSA threaded bottom bracket and tidy external cable routing (internal dropper routing) for easy maintenance. A Boost 148mm rear end is standard but the frame is compatible with a special spacer kit that will allow you to run non-boost 142mm hubs. The rear brake standard is post mount 180mm with precision milled surfaces – just like the bearing bores. The bearing pockets are milled on a 5 axis machine in Germany in a single operation for perfect alignment.

Like most bikes, the Glen has gone with longer and slacker geometry while steepening the seat tubes. However, the geometry varies by size with the larger frames getting longer chainstay lengths and steeper seat tube angles to keep the same ride feel on the bigger bikes.

The frames have clearance for 29 x 2.6″ tires depending on the tire and rim choice, and while the bikes come equipped with 150mm forks, the frame is capable of running up to a 160mm fork. The Last Glen is available now in either a frameset starting at €1,799, or complete bikes from €3,499 to 5,499.
