Every year, Raleigh puts together a limited edition cyclocross frameset to celebrate the Singlespeed Cyclocross World Championships. This year’s edition celebrates Philadelphia, the hometown for the 2013 event.
The promoters wanted to do a steel, disc brake ready model, so the frame will have a few conveniences some single speeders may never use. Like a derailleur hanger. Raleigh’s man about town Brian Fornes said: “We looked at creating a new drop out to make it a dedicated SS…but ran out of time to create something new. So we stuck with our LandLord frame design. Modified the geometry, upgraded the tubing, and slimmed the drop out by using the one from our new Tamland.”
Only 50 will be made, and proceeds go directly to funding the race itself. Order now if you want’un, and it’ll deliver in January.

Suggested cut marks for turning your bike into a “pure” singlespeed, with or without a bottle opener.
Retail is $667, or just a bit better than evil. Frame is Reynolds 525 chromoly and ships with an FSA integrated cartridge bearing headset, the fork and an eccentric bottom bracket. Yep, we knew you were wondering what would make it singlespeed.
