In the hyper competitive world of road biking we all know color coordination is worth at least a few extra watts. All kidding aside, true to that old saying – when you look good you feel good. And if you think matching your ride is the epitome of cycling panache, Pactimo is taking color matching to the next level with the new Match Your Ride collection…
Short of actually calling their new Match Your Ride colors by their industry matching names, the kits are an exact Pantone match to many of the colors currently popular for road bikes and components. Pactimo then took those Pantone colors and matched them with their own PAC color system for 12 different color options for all of the kit. That means there is the potential for exact matches to your ride.
Using their popular Ascent line as a canvas, all of the pieces are made to order.
The Men’s MYR collection includes the Ascent Air jersey and Ascent Pro Bibs which are still available in non MYR colors as well. Cut from their Speedskin fabric with Arrido mesh panels, the jersey provides a stretchy, comfy fit that is nice and airy. The bib shorts follow a similar fit concept with Pactimo’s Silhouette Engineering and uses a 7.5 cm compression leg band for a slightly longer leg and include a CyTech E.I.T. Liege Carbonium chamois. Offered as a complete kit with a matching cap for $240, the pieces are also available separately for $105 for the jerseys and $135 for the bibs.
The Women’s MYR collection includes all of the same colors as the men’s with the only difference being the Ascent shorts instead of the Ascent bibs. Using a yoga style waistband with 8″ inseam and a silicone gripper, the shorts are completed with a CyTech E.I.T. Endurance 2 Women’s specific chamois. Complete women’s MYR kits will sell for $210 including a matching cap, and individually the shorts and the jersey will both sell for $105.
