Underneath the pretty paint is the same all-new aero all-rounder that we offered a detailed look over from Eurobike this summer. Half again stiffer and more integrated than its previous generation, the 2019 Diamante is a race ready carbon road bike that now comes in both rim brake & disc brake models.

The made it Italy carbon monocoque Diamante features aero shaped tubing, modular internal cable routing, and a 1.5″ tapered steerer within a dropped headtube design with a semi-integrated stem & spacers.

The rim brake bike uses direct mount calipers, and the disc brake version includes 12mm thru-axles and flat mount brakes.

Seems like most carbon disc brake frames don’t have a brake bridge these days. Wonder why some frames have them and others don’t.

Disc brake frames do not require a brake bridge, allowing room for larger tyres.

Yeah I get that, what I don’t get is why some manufacturers decide to keep them while most others don’t.
