If you live in the Lisbon, Maine, area (or just Maine in general…since there are no BMX tracks in the state, apparently) and want to have a new track for next summer, Kim Mitchell is your woman.
According to this article (with video), the recreation director for Lisbon’s Pinewood Roads Sports Park has given the approval, now they need to raise about $40k to build the track.  As any city or parks and rec manager will tell you, build it and tourism dollars will come…not to mention healthier, more active kids (and adults)!  Read the article if you’re interested in learning more.
