veloink1You have seen the pro’s bikes, each carefully labeled with the name of the owner and where they are from. Veloink is a small company starting with the creation of these decals for the rest of us that may not have a full-time professional mechanic to put them for us.

They have one of the most impressive lists of flags, including all states, most countries, Armed Forces and governmental divisions. When you type in your name, it ends up in a custom decal about a half inch tall, and 2-4 inches long, depending on text.

Check out the “I Ride For” decals after the jump, where they donate half of the gross sales to the Michael J. Fox foundation.

veloink2All the decals are made of 3M materials and printed with Roland inks, and are applied using a pressure sensitive adhesive. They have an over laminate film put over the 1440dpi printing to keep the graphics from fading or running as they age.

The decals sell for $8.99 for a set of 4, and the online designer is right on their website, and shows your your final decal before you place the order.

I always want to buy these, but the flags are all facing the WRONG WAY!

Not for the left side of the bike.
They need to be reversed for the right side. The way they’re pictured on their website is bad flag etiquette.

If showing up on the side bar every website I visit wasn’t enough due to google’s targetted ads, now as paid spam on BikeRumour! TOPS!

Brooks– glad I’m not the only one who’s thought that… I’ve nearly purchased stickers like this many a time, but I can’t do it with the flag facing the wrong way. I know its a ‘little thing’ but it would drive me nuts on the bike.

Victory Circle Graphix, aka VCGraphix are the original creators of these name decals for bikes. They’ve been making them for many Pro-Teams for over a decade. The are excellent! http://www.vcgraphix.com

Matt,
Those are great stickers but they only cover the Untied States…. leaving the other 6.7 billion of us out in the cold.

you can get the flag behind the name or in front with the builder (just put none on the first drop menu) and whatever flag on the second drop menu.

Like others said, flags need to be reversed for right side placement. When are these sticker makers going to figure that out?
