Reinvented earlier this year, the new carbon-bodied Manitou Dorado Pro will start shipping late September in limited quantities, with more following in October. It’s an inverted design, as it’s always been, using 37mm stanchions on the bottom.
MSRP is $1799 (this direct-mount stem not included), check out our full launch coverage for all the tech details.
It’s adjustable for 29 and 27.5+ wheel and tire combos…same fork, just move the crowns up or down as needed, which also lets you adjust the axle-to-crown height a bit, and fit a variety of headset heights. The carbon Pro model has a textured area for the clamps.
The Hayes Dominion A2 and A4 brakes will soon come in all-black colorways, with both regular and short finger levers. Originally only available in their gray-ish bronze color, the A2/A4 series’ black versions start shipping around mid-September.
MSRP is $279 per wheel with rotor, $229 without. Claimed weight is 310g without rotor. Check out our full review of the brakes here.
The T2, shown above, already comes in black and gets titanium hardware and recently got a Reynolds carbon fiber lever upgrade to drop about 100g off the per-set weight. These only come in 2-piston versions…for now.
