For the last few years London-based Massif Central has been creating simple, interesting graphic prints that visualize some core data collected from a wide range of cycling races and even cycling records, in a radial style that they have developed as their own. Now to celebrate the 100th running of the 100th Giro d’Italia, and the recent win by Tom Dumoulin, they have put together a new print, charting each winner, the Giro distances, speeds, and highlights that defined the Italian Grand Tour over the years. Prints are very limited, so act quick to get yours…
MassifCentral paired up again with their partner Dan Mather to hand screen print this pink & black limited edition ‘Giro 100’ print on gray paper. While the proof images we’ve seen hadn’t yet had Dumoulin’s name added, MassifCentral assures us that the 2017 winner and the stats from this year’s race are being finished up as we type.
Just 30 copies will be made & numbered, and are being sold off for £65 for the unframed A2 print (420 x 594mm, 16.5″ x 23.375″) or £165 in a black ano aluminum frame.
While you’re at it check out some of the other prints from MassifCentral, like their summary charts of the Le Tour, a colorful series on the five Monuments, the back and forth history of the Hour Record, a look at the Haute Routes, and even a number of more personalized charts.
