Hairodynamics? A haero road helmet?
MET says beyond protection, their most advanced road helmet was designed to “keep your head – and hair – fresh and save precious energy”.
Winning plenty of races, Tadej Pogačar kinda made the helmet a fun story as his hair was almost always sticking out of the top vents – from mid-ride to all of those hands-in-the-air finish line celebrations.
As it turns out, Pogačar’s tufts of hair poking out were the result of the unique airflow designed by MET, saying “What if we told you that Tadej’s iconic tufts are created by the helmet’s performance design, sweeping air in and upwards, and drawing stems of dancing hair out through the vents?”
Basically, by engineering deep internal channels with high-speed Venturi effect airflow through the helmet and out the top “Hair Vents” for comfort, it was bound to have hair sticking out. If you look at Pogačar’s teammates, their hair is often sticking out the top too, they just don’t have as many winning finish line photos as the Slovenian.

The special MET Trenta 3K Carbon MIPS Tadej Pogačar limited edition helmet is available now for the same $380 / 330€ price as the original, just with an iridescent gray paint job and ltd TJ TP graphics.
It still comes in three sizes (claimed weight of 225g in M) with MIPS Air anti-rotational protection and CE, AS/NZS & US crash certification.
