SEA OTTER CLASSIC 2010VP Components pulled the cover off their new VP59 flat pedal to oohs and aahs.  As I was checking it out, tons of little grommets swung by their table to check them out.

The design was determined after talking to a lot of riders that all said they take the center pins out of their pedals anyway, so VP decided they could do away with the typical webbing and material that’s put into flat pedals just to support additional pins.  The VP59 uses just five pins per side (3 front / 2 rear), but a quick step and twist test proved their point…it’s really all you need.

  • low 7.5mm stack height
  • Five (5) pins per side, replaceable
  • Full length Cromo axle
  • Central/Inner LSL self-lubricating bushing
