Danny Mac

The latest riding masterpiece from Danny Macaskill is out. Even though we’ve grown to expect crazy stunts, army tanks, sculpted jumps, and even Playboy Bunnies, the newest video from Danny is au naturel. After making his way back home to the Isle of Skye, Danny jumps on a mountain bike instead of his trusty trial rig and tackles a crazy line though the Cuillin Ridgline. Fortunately for us, Cut Media was there to document it, and the result is a winner. Watch the video next.

From Cut Media:

#TheRidge is the brand new film from Danny Macaskill… For the first time in one of his films Danny climbs aboard a mountain bike and returns to his native home of the Isle of Skye in Scotland to take on a death-defying ride along the notorious Cuillin Ridgeline.

What is in the backpack? A parachute? Any slips would need one.

Best video of RAD riding ever and the soundtrack actually added to the overall.
Nice job Enve.

The fence flip at the end after all the spectacular riding was amazing!

I’m not gonna lie, I’d be calling for a d*mn helicopter if I found myself at that second peak.

I need a clean chamois and I wasn’t even riding that. I really enjoy how he’s exposing his fan base to a multitude of styles and disciplines. Though he’s made me feel inadequate at simply walking on my own feet.

It must be nice…to wake up in the morning and say “Hey, I think I’d like to try to ride here”…and then actually do it.

The rest of us are mere mortals compared to Danny’s skills. I got dizzy just watching the drop offs on either side of that trail. Yep – definitely from another planet 🙂

And I thought he was going to drop that peak he’s standing on in the first image.

Yes glad we didn’t see any leaps from the spire. Loved the music with the row across the lake. Danny always appears to be in some kind of sacred ancient world all alone and in possession of super human powers. CRAZY!

I once got lost in the Cuillin mountains by taking a wrong turn. The ride was impressive in a car, but this was wonderful.
