Don Walker, NAHBS show founder, showed off some sharp paint jobs on his frames, which now have updated standards on offer.
The bikes are now using the new 44ID head tubes as standard, which allow for a tapered fork, but other head tubes can be used, too. He’s now using PF30 or BB30 on the road bikes. Looking forward (and showing his track roots), he’s developing a BB30 style track crankset with a third party because it’ll bring a lot of stiffness to a discipline that can really use it.
Check them out, along with a brazed tandem, after the break…
Contrasting the built road and track bikes, this frame had a black base with blue and white striping on one side…
And here’s the track bike that mirrors the road bike at the top of the post. Matching set, anyone?
Walker also brought out this classic track racer.
His road bike just happened to be built up with the new SRAM Red Black kit, too.
