Boo had a number of impressive show worthy bikes this year at NAHBS, but if there was one bike that stopped people in their tracks it was probably this AluBoo fat bike. If fat biking in the snow wasn’t enough winter sporting for you, this bike is the ultimate winter sportsmobile. Able to carry all the gear you need to get out to your favorite ice climbing location, the bike also has to ability to carry some massive skis if the snow gets too deep for fat bike tires.

The amount of gear on the AluBoo was pretty impressive. I wouldn’t want to have to repack it all, but it looks like it had a full ice climbing set up in addition to the ski boots and skis.
First introduced last year at Interbike, the AluBooyah fat bike is now being offered in 3 sizes and in 3 different builds. Called the 14k, 18k, and 24k, the build kits will include SRAM X7, X9, and XX1 respectively.

Both Alubooyahs above are an example of their painter’s work, with solid metallic pain jobs offered for an extra $295. If you want something wild like the tiger motif above it can be done, but will cost you a lot more.
The Boo portion of the brand continues with full custom carbon/bamboo creations hand made by James Wolf. This allows for cool builds like this belt drive townie with an integrated bamboo rack.

VP’s marketing man Erik Saunders has his own Boo hardtail which he had built with a slacker head tube for what he calls a “rad super capable bike.”
