For the bike and coffee connoisseur, there’s the $75 purpose-built Chris King espresso tamper.  Unlike the hub salt and pepper shakers that use existing hub bodies, these bad boys are formed from aluminum just to press your grind.

They had their full assortment of hubs and colors on display, same as at Interbike, but just for fun, there’s a little candy colored goodness after the break…

The ID on my machine’s basket is 52mm and it tapers down a bit from there – hopefully King has a smaller tamper in the works! I’ve been tamping with a hot sauce bottle – I’d probably upgrade.
