NAHBS 2010 – What a coincidence…I’m just getting ready to post these pics of the monstrous Moots Snoots snow bike and a) it starts snowing outside and b) I get an email from Dax at Hydrapak with a link to his buddy’s blog posts about (Hydrapak) team member Mike Curiak’s ride across the Iditarod trail on, what else, a Moots Snoots:
His blog shows satellite tracking of his trip, updated every 10 minutes. He started out this Monday (March 1) and as of the last posting was about 93 miles into the 1,000 mile trip. Crazy photos on his site if you’re into it, and check out more pics of the bike after the break (UPDATED with pricing!)…
Urban camo from gear ring silhouettes…nice.
Presumably Indeed, the rear wheel is the same as the front to allow swaps in the event of a mechanical.
From Cathy at Moots:
It’s a one-off with specialty pricing:
frame: $3750.00
wheels, groupo: $4000.00 (at least)
I’d say close to $10,000.00 when its all said and done.
