R.E.Load had a contest a while back to name their new sizes in messenger bags…and here they are:  (drumroll, please) Sprint, shown, and Dash.  The Sprint is the larger of of the two, measuring 16″w x 14″h x 7″d with an MSRP of $115.  The Dash is 16″ x 12″ x 5.5″ and costs $109.  They have them for sale on their website here, and more info and pics on their Flickr page here.

The bags use a nifty “split strap” system with a huge pad to make it easy to position and keep it comfy.  Click “more” to see pics of the strap and inside.

That’s a big pad.  The buckle has a d-ring built in for extraneous attachments like, oh, say, dog-repellent spray?  Glow sticks?

The inside is pared down, making these the lightest bags available from R.E.Load.  Simple internal pockets keep smaller things organized.  And is that a BURN Energy Drink?  mmmmmm, delicious!

R.E.Load also has a new minipack coming out in the next couple weeks, and they’re finishing street testing of their all-new backpack design with some Philly messengers.  That pack should be out early next year.  Got a messenger or big cyclist on your Christmas list?  Get up with the R.E.Load folks now to custom design a bag for them so it’ll be ready in time for Santa Day.
