New Devinci eBikes Add More Choices to Go Car-Free

Canadian bicycle company, Devinci Bicycles is introducing two new models of eBikes to their existing line, the E-Griffin, and the E-Cartier. These two new eBikes, Devinci says, “mark the beginning of its new statement towards the fast-growing electric mobility and leisure cycling segments”.

Both of these new bikes are part of a “new wave of fun-loving” eBikes that are offering reliable power for getting around the city, commuting, or a leisurely ride through the countryside.

Both the E-Cartier and the E-Griffin eBikes are designed and assembled in Canada. The two bikes look to be spec’d very similarly, and share the below features.

Both models come with the Shimano EP801 drive system, Shimano’s most powerful motor in their lineup.

They both run an integrated cockpit that Davinci says protects cables and electronics in a clean design. Pair that with the integrated display and you’ve got a really clean look. The integrated display lets you customize the ride data, and how you view it. Speed, distance, trip time, clock, gear, estimated range, battery indication… the choice is yours.

The battery in both models is a 725Wh battery that uses the latest 21700 cell technology.

The E-Cartier and E-Griffin bot have a front suspension fork and dropper post. The fork comes equiped with 100mm of travel for added comfort, where the dropper post will help make it easier to touch the ground when the rider is stopped.

Integrated lights also come standard on both of Devinci’s new eBikes. Both front and rear lights are there to keep you visible and safe whether you’re riding during the day or at night.

Stopping is provided by a pair of Shimano hydraulic disc brakes for safe, consistent, reliable, and strong braking in all weather conditions.

Both frames offer enough clearance for wide tires, fitting sizes up to 29 x 2.4″ tires. The E-Cartier and E-Griffin both use internal cable routing and come with an integrated trouser guard, and front and rear fenders to help keep you nice and clean on the commute to the office.

The new E-Cartier is ready for anything you want to use it for, being able to work hard and have fun. It’s an all-a-round kinda bike that can be used for commuting, running errands, or in lieu of using your car.

Using a flat handlebar and the powerful and reliable Shimano Steps Motor, the E-Cartier gives the rider a quick and sporty ride. Ditching the car is easy to do with the included list of accessories like a digital display, rack, fenders, front and rear lights, and a strong, eBike-specific kickstand.

The New Devinci E-Griffin

The Griffin comes in two different frame configurations, the E-Griffin and E-Griffin Step-Thru. Either one of these frames will help you get through the city quickly and with ease. Most of the included features are the same as the E-Cartier with the added convenience of easy mounting and dismounting with the step-thru frame.
