BIKERUMOR.com 2009 SEA OTTER CLASSIC COVERAGE: Selle San Marco had a few new seats on display, like the Mantra, a uniquely shaped seat that has a very wide rear end with sides that slope off at a dramatic rate while the nose is narrower and stiffer than normal.  They claim the design helps eliminate leg friction rubbing on the front end and better comfort overall.  200g, with an MSRP of $300.
They’re also reintroducing their classic Concor saddles (at left, click to enlarge) using the same molds from yesteryears.  These are based on comfort, with a weight over 350g, so they’re not for the weight weenie racers.  MSRP will be $175.
While not new, we also got a pic of their 105g, $475 Aspide SuperLeggara full carbon fiber seat.  Hit ‘more’ to see it and drool…
The rep said they actually saw someone with one of these on their mountain bikes.  Silly.
