SCOR MTB, a relatively new brand born out of the skunkworks division of BMC, has announced the release of a limited edition 4060 Ohlins frameset. This is the first time this 140mm/160mm adjustable travel bike has been offered in a frame, shock and fork combo, and also the first time it has been offered with a coil shock.
SCOR 4060 Öhlins Frameset
The SCOR 4060 is carbon full suspension frameset with 140mm or 160mm rear wheel travel, adjustable by simply switching out the rear shock for one with a longer stroke. A flip-chip at the lower shock mount and the included angle adjust headset keep geometry in check.
We covered the SCOR 4060 previously, when it was launched alongside its eMTB sibling, the SCOR 4060 Z. At the time, it was available as a complete build with FOX suspension, a complete build with RockShox suspension, or as a frameset with a FOX Float X2 Factory shock.
This week’s release of the limited edition Ohlins frameset is the first time SCOR has offered the 4060 with a coil shock option. The 4060 chassis is paired with the Ohlins TTX22M coil shock and RXF36M.2 Coil fork.
Pricing & Availability
The SCOR 4060 Ohlins frameset is limited to just 100 units, retailing at 4999 CHF / 4699€ / $4999 USD, available in S, M, L and XL.
