Easily the most striking pair of shoes in this release, the new ‘Cactus Berry’ RX8 gravel shoe is likely to be one of those love it or hate it affairs. According to Shimano’s Lifestyle Gear Product Manager, Jessie Gascon, “the inspiration for this colorful design came from a gravel ride near my house where I was blown away by the beauty of a Santa Rita Prickly Pear Cactus on the side of the trail.” The result is sure to stand out on the trail just like the cactus, and will be added as the third color option for the RX8 lineup starting this fall.
New RC3 & RC3W Road Shoes
While fun colors of expensive shoes are always entertaining, entry level shoes packed with premium features can be just as exciting to the right buyer. The RC3 brings S-PHYRE tech down to just $120. That includes a seamless midsole, one-piece surround wrap composite upper, lower stack height, and Boa L6 dial.
