If you (like us) are already thinking about ‘cross season, Niner’s BSB 9 RDO carbon cyclocross race bike has a few updates for ya. They’re simple, mainly just the switch to flat mount brakes, new colors and a single, effective complete bike build featuring SRAM Rival 1.
Available in this Yin and Yang Black/White or Loud and Proud Green/Blue (shown below), the complete bike retails for $3,200 $3,800 with Stan’s Grail wheels and a Niner alloy cockpit. A frameset, which includes their carbon RDO flat mount cyclocross fork, is $2,300.
Niner says they’re only available in limited quantities, so if you’re interested, talk to your Niner dealer now to get one on order. We reviewed the BSB 9 RDO a couple years ago and it is indeed a “race day weapon” as they put it, with the added benefit of their 29er mountain bike DNA to make handling really good in the rough stuff.
