Back in February Rebecca Rusch hopped on her Jet 9 RDO and headed up to the summit (and back down), of Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for World Bike Relief. To further her fundraising efforts, Niner is auctioning off the very bike she used to accomplish this insane feat.
Check ahead on how to get in on winning Rebecca’s Jet 9 RDO, and if you don’t win but are in the market for a new bike, Niner is offering a deep discount on select Jet 9 models.
World Bike Relief is simply one of the best things this industry could contribute to and Rebecca Rusch thinks so too. She along with Patrick Sweeney went out to raise a dollar for each foot of the 19,341 foot peak. The amount raised equals 131 bikes for those in need of a better form of transportation. After her feat, she and Sweeney traveled to the Kenyan village of Busalwa to see the impactful program in action and learn how the bicycles have truly changed lives.
Niner is also stepping up by auctioning off the Jet 9 RDO Rebecca used in her effort. To find out how to bid on it this May, follow Niner Bikes on their Facebook page. If you don’t win Rebecca’s Jet 9 RDO, you can still get your hands on one of their alloy Jet 9s for a great deal. Niner is knocking off $500 of some select alloy Jet 9 models including a frameset, so hit up your local dealer before they’re gone.
