NS Bikes has a new model, uniquely offered in both Trail and Enduro variants.  Called the Snabb, the name means “fast” in Swedish. Each of the frame variants is specifically designed for its intended use, changing tube shapes and thicknesses, suspension design and intended tire size. The Snabb E comes in with 163mm of rear wheel travel and the Snabb T has 142mm.

Although the name sounds like an object from a Dr. Seuss book, the bikes look clean and modern, with multi color paint jobs and large graphics.

NS Bikes offers the Snabb as complete bikes or frames, and the 27.5″ wheeled design has some pretty cool spec features. Jump past the break to get the full story…

All 4 of the Snabb complete bikes come built as 1×10, and include a 32t “narrow wide” chainring, as well as a 42T climbing cog to add to the cassette. Essentially a poor-man’s Sram XX1 groupset, this gives the 10 speed bikes almost the same range as the popular 1×11 groupset that has been extremely popular in the enduro segment.

Each of the Snabb variants is available as a frame including a Rockshox Monarch shock and NS Bikes rear axle.  The Snabb T1 is intended for trail riding, optimizing weight, reliability and cost by using a simple suspension design without the need for gimmicks or patents.

Geometry is where the two bikes differ in their intended use, other than the wheel travel. The chainstay lengths are nice and short, and even differ between the models to dial in each frame.

Interestingly, the effective seat tube angles in the chart are quite a bit steeper than other similar bikes, so we will try and get a Snabb to test in the future.

NS Bikes has not posted any pricing on these new models yet, but we will be reaching out to them and adding information as we get it.

Good looking bikes but with awful graphics and colors schemes.

Yea they worked really hard for to make this frame! We hope that we’ll be able to test it next year! Killer colors. Maybe a new demo bike for the shop 😀
