Nukeproof has announced an all-new componentry line aimed at Pump Track and Dirt jump Bikes. Debuting the Nukeproof Dolos line is a 26″ wheelset meant to find its home on the Nukeproof Solum, or any compatible Pump Track or Dirt Jump Bike that’s been hucked-to-flat one too many times.
Nukeproof Dolos Wheelset
The new Dolos range comes not so long after the arrival of the designed-for-a-laugh Nukeproof Solum Bike. It consolidates the brand’s ambition to better cater to pump track, skate park and dirt jump riders, or anyone partial to a jib about on 26″ wheels.
The Dolos wheels have 20mm x 100mm front (15mm end-caps are also available) and 135mm x 10mm rear hub spacing. The hubs are built to be tough, hand-laced in a 3x pattern with 32 J-bend spokes. The rear has 24 POEs, and comes complete with an 11 tooth driver, though 12t and 13t options are also available.
The Dolos aluminum rims have a 22mm height, 25mm internal width and a 30.8mm outer, designed to accomodate 1.6″ to 2.5″ tires. They are constructed from a blend of 6000 and 7000 series alloys, said to benefit from the hardness of 7 series, but with the ductility and yield properties of 6 series. The rims and hubs have a micro shot-peened and anodized finish.

The Dolos wheels are the first product to be released from the range, with more components to follow in 2023.
