OneUp Components has released a smaller version of its Composite Pedal, with platform dimensions of 97.5mm x 92mm – that compares to the 115mm x 105mm platform of the regular Composite Pedal. Indeed, the smaller platform is aimed at riders with smaller feet; up to US Women’s Size 8 or US Men’s Size 6.5.
A pair of the Small Composite Pedals weighs a claimed 330g. There are seven “Friendly Pins” per side. There is a threaded sleeve over the top of a regular pedal pin – the same pins found on the regular Composite Pedal. The sleeves are removable, so the extra grip offered by the more aggressive threaded pin is there if you need it.
