Catering to those who want a well-executed fit and finish but without the bells and whistles (and price tag) of high end cycling kits, the new Ornot Lightweight Summer Jersey and Work Bibshorts fit the bill for riders looking to beat the heat.
The new jerseys, also part of their new “Work” series, are a minimalist design with three pockets and a breathable, Italian-milled open-knit mesh. They use a YKK zipper and are constructed of 100% Bluesign-approved recycled polyester, equivalent to about 8 plastic water bottles per jersey.
The Work jersey comes in Stone Blue, Burgundy, and Fog colors in both men’s and women’s versions.
All have reflective details on the back and retail for $98 each.
To go with them, the new Work bibshorts (men’s only for now) have a single cargo pocket on the right side and an endurance chamois on the inside for all-day riding. These, too, are made with Bluesign-approved fabric and eco-friendly processes.
They have a one-piece strap with high waistband front and rear. They have a wide silicone-free leg gripper and offer 35 UPF sun protection. MSRP is $148, available now in Black and Slate in sizes XS through XXL.
