Desperate times call for desperate measures, right? OK, desperate isn’t the right word. More like creative. Many of us have had to get creative with our riding as we ride this thing out, while realizing just how fortunate we are to be safe and healthy. We’ve seen a lot of creative home riding circuits as a result, but none of them compare to the Rube Goldberg-esque trials contraption set up by 12 time World Biketrials Champion, Ot Pi Isern.

On top of the sketchy looking skinnies, Ot Pi makes it even harder on himself by riding what appears to be a modified track bike with road wheels and tires. Though it does have a Magura hydraulic rim brake on the rear and a trials stem up front. Somehow me manages to pull it all together including a couple of trick shots that Dude Perfect would be proud of.

If you’re wondering about the all white attire and bicycle, that’s Ot Pi hoping to draw attention to making the roads safer for cyclists as part of his “Bici Blanca = Stop Accidents” initiative. More from Ot Pi on the matter (via Google Translate), below.

White Bike = Stop Accidents
As part of this campaign, we present to you “Covid 19 Home Circuit” by Ot Pi Play.

Globally, the White Bicycle (Ghost Bike) is a symbol of homage to cyclist victims of traffic accidents. Ot Pi celebrates «Biker» becomes Ot Pi Play, with its clothing and white bicycle, in order to make drivers and administrations aware that cyclists on the roads are fragile elements and that their safety must be guaranteed.

You will find the details of this awareness campaign in: https://www.facebook.com/OtPiPlays/

H/T to another trials legend, Hans Rey, for finding this!

I fondly remember watching the 90s Ot Pi video, Dream for the first time…. around 2010. Those VHS tapes were rare as hen’s teeth in the US! It was worth the wait, though, as the riding was fantastic!
