For Paul Camp 2017, they invited handmade bicycle builders from the area to submit their idea of the ultimate monstercross bike or mountain bike. Rick Hunter rolled up with a very rigid (and rigid specific) Hunter Cycles mountain bike-style gravel grinder that can be had with up to 29×3.0 tires! It showed off his new custom chainstay yoke and signature seatstays and thru axle dropouts. Check out the other builders’ videos here.

Nice machine! The best monstercrosser I’ve seen thus far. Monstercrossers need rigid-specific geometry to look good and creating that amount of clearance with a reasonably short rear end is just excellent work!
