10 years. On one hand it seems hard to believe Pivot has only been around for a decade. They’ve become such a fixture in the mountain bike space it’s hard to imagine the industry without them. But on the other hand, the amount they’ve been able to accomplish in such a short time is also pretty unbelievable. After launching at Interbike in 2007 with just two bikes, Pivot has grown exponentially to become the small but mighty bicycle company they are today.
To celebrate, they’ve whipped up a very special Mach 5.5 Carbon trail bike with a number of custom touches that you’ll only get here. But like most special editions, you’d better act quick…
Only 300 of these bikes will be produced, and each one will have a unique badge with individual numbering. Like the original Mach 5.5, the Anniversary Edition offers 140mm of dw-link travel mated to a 160mm Fox 36 suspension fork.
In this case, the fork is given custom 10 year anniversary graphics with a matching Fox DPX2 rear shock to go along with it.
Continuing the custom theme, Reynolds carbon trail rims with custom graphics are mated to anodized to match Industry Nine hubs with laser engraved custom touches.
Even the WTB Volt saddle has a 10 year badge and matched colors and graphics.
Finishing off the look is a matched Race Face Next SL carbon crank and a few 10th anniversary hits elsewhere on the frame.
We’ll update when the price becomes available, but if you want one, you should probably contact your local Pivot dealer before it’s too late.
